Dreams come true

Thanks to Star FM & Central Coast Unity Bank for providing a memorable experience for little Tai and his family who are regulars at the Gosford Family Room. Tai together with his brother, cousin and some friends were shuttled down to the International Convention Centre to see none other than The Wiggles!

When the Gosford Family Room was approached by Star FM & Central Coast Unity Bank to select a worthy family living on the Central Coast, Tai and his family were one of the first to come to mind.

Tai was born early with some complications and needed to be in hospital for 3 months following his birth. He regularly needs to go back to hospital for treatment and in his 14 months has had over 9 operations.

Whenever they are at the Gosford Hospital for treatment, they always visit the Family Room and Tai loves playing with all of the toys while his mum enjoys the break from the ward, a coffee and a chat with the volunteers.

Our Room and Cabin sponsors help make it possible for us to welcome through our doors more than 9,000 families in 2018. Generously providing the funds needed for regular upkeep and maintenance, giving families a place full of warmth and comfort where they can focus on spending time together making memories. A workplace champion at BHP Mt Arthur Coal

For the last 7 years, Steve has been a champion for Ronald McDonald House. He’s helped promote workplace giving at Mt Arthur Coal and been behind the push to have Ronald McDonald House included in BHP’s matched corporate giving program so every dollar donated by staff is matched 2:1.
