Isolation, home-schooling and the constant fear of infection isn’t new for families who need Ronald Mcdonald House Charities Northern NSW – it’s a way of life, often for months and even years while their child is seriously ill or injured.
COVID-19 has had a significant impact, restricting our ability to raise the vital funds needed to help keep families close together. From now until 17 August, join our first ever Raise Love-a-thon and help us provide a home away from home for families in need.
Ronald McDonald House Charities are 100% community owned and operated, so your assistance is vital in providing sick children and their families the support they need.
Each year Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern NSW provides support to more than 6,000 families from across NSW, helping achieve the best outcomes for families by reducing the impact of their child’s illness.
What is the Raise Love-a-thon?
Due to COVID-19 we are unable to host our annual Raise Love Charity Ball, so instead we’re holding a Raise Love-a-thon and we’re inviting you to get involved! #RaiseLoveathon
You’ll hear from our families first hand on the impact your support has on families. The global health crisis has put further stress on the families of sick children. The world around us is changing, but childhood illness doesn’t halt and we have families that still need our assistance.
Help us help them and give generously so they feel our support during this difficult time. Join in the ‘love’ online and be part of the live streamed event on 17 August where we will reveal the final tally.
How you can Raise Love
While we may not be able to physically come together, sick kids and their families across Northern NSW still need your support. Whether you’re an individual, business or community group, you can make a big difference in the lives of sick kids.
