Pauline and her family have been a part of the Ronald McDonald House Family for many years and know just how important it is for families.
“I first came across Ronald McDonald House 27 years ago, because my mother Barbara has volunteered at Ronald McDonald House Newcastle since it opened. I’m 35 now, but as a child I used to hang out at the House on weekends and help Mum with cleaning and play with the other kids. Now I have a baby in NICU so I’m using the Ronald McDonald Family Room, where my mother now volunteers.” Nina was born premature and she’s doing very well. The Family Room just makes things that little bit easier during the most stressful time in your life.”
For families like Pauline's, the Family Room is a space where their whole family can be together, just step's from their sick child's side.
